Technical Parameters

 

We supply steel base plates for heavy-duty structural projects with plate thicknesses ranging from 10mm to 100mm, available in three structural configurations: flat type, drilled type, and stiffened type. Each base plate is fabricated per the project-specified design code, with emphasis on meeting ACI 318-19 concrete bearing strength and load transfer requirements between the column and the foundation. As the key load-transfer component between steel columns and concrete foundations, base plates disperse axial compression, shear, and bending moment loads into the foundation.

Types of Steel Base Plates

 

 

We produce three base plate configurations. Types are classified by structural feature: no holes = flat; with holes, no stiffeners = drilled; with stiffener ribs = stiffened.

All base plates are manufactured in our steel structure fabrication facility. Production follows a three-stage workflow - plate forming, welding & assembly, and surface protection & dispatch - with quality checks embedded at each stage.
